Waters GCT - filament stays off past solvent delay

Our Waters GCT Premier is unable to collect data due to the filament not turning on at the appropriate time.
The Tune pages all show normal settings/readbacks. The filament current/emission current are initially on and we can collect spectra for calibration ions without issue. Toggling the "Filament Off/Reset Filament" works without any problem so we can send signals/events to the EPC and instrument.
However, on injection of a sample, the filament is turned off for the solvent delay (3 mins) but does not come back on after 3 mins so no data is collected. Manually trying to reset and turn on the filament no longer works and we have to do a hard reboot of the whole system to reset the Tune page so that the Filament is responsive again.
I've checked the MS file and verified that the Solvent Delay is 0-3 mins. Have also removed the Solvent Delay but same problem remains on the Inject signal.
Also checked the Startup/Shutdown settings and have turned these on/off. No effect on this problem.
It seems that the filament off command from the Sample Inject is actively blocking the reset and corrupting the Tune file ?
Anyone else encountered a similar issue ? Any advice ?
