Hi everyone, my lab is deciding whether or not a Shimadzu AOC-6000 plus autosampler would be a good choice for our GC- QQQ MS. We are curious if there is any advantages with it over just a AOC-20i/s and Hs-20. We also want to known the downfalls of the autosampler. So, if anyone could please share their experiences (good and bad) with this autosampler that would be much appreciated!

Isn't it just a rebadged PAL-3? We currently don't have one in house, but we have one in-coming. We have a lab full of heavily used PAL-2's with millions of cycles on each. They've been great. I'd be surprised (or disappointed) that the PAL-3 would have poorer general performance.

What advantages are you expecting over the AOC-20i or carousel? If you need a PAL, you'd know. We use PALs due to their flexibility. We're a high throughput lab, and a lot of our workflow, including GC analysis, is 96-well format. We do not use vials at all for samples.
