Hi there everybody, we are planning to buy a new GC in my company mainly for refinery gases and some natural gas and LPG samples.
We had an offer from the french side Alpha M.O.S., we never dealt with this GC (as we use Perkin Elmer and Agilent products for quite a while now), so people please give me some of your experience with this type of GCs, any main likes or dislikes you may have met using it.
Thanks all.

I have no experience w/ their GC products. In fact, I didn't know they had any, so I looked at their website and am left wondering if they are teh OEM for any of the system pictured... The autosampler looks an awful lot like a rebadged CombiPal and the GC itself has a familiar look to it...
Thanks,
DR

I took a look at the web page, and all the products offered are third party products. The liquid autosampler looks like a very old (pre-CombiPAL) CTC product, or possibly the Stang autosampler, an East German clone of the CTC product.

I would be cautious, I don't know what level of support they offer for these products. I would ask a lot of questions about service and support in your area, espepically long term.
