Hi All,

My Waters 2695 HPLC is giving me a desgasser pressure fault (4.7 psi) and the liquid coming out of the system is full of air. I've primed the pumps, but the problem persists. Any ideas?

Zack

Your integrated Alliance vacuum degasser has serious damage requiring replacement or professional service. If well maintained, the degasser modules are designed to last a maximum of five years (people often ignore these modules resulting in internal flow path contamination). *Liquid may be visible exiting the exhaust line, red in color powder observed by the vacuum pump or perhaps a knocking (or "howl") may be heard coming from the pump (all signs of serious damage).
