I have an Agilent 7890A/5975C running on MSD Chemstation. Been having communication problems with the GC, not the MSD. Bought a new logic board to see if it solves the issue. Got the GC serial number and manufacture date updated, but can't seem to get it to save the IP address/subnet mask. Also, it gives pressure module errors. I'm assuming there is something I need to do, specifically, to update this information on the new logic board, however the service manual is not very helpful. Does anyone have a document which lists specific steps to take when replacing the logic board and/or can point me in the right direction?

If there are dip switches on that board, they may be preventing it from saving whatever you assign as an IP address.
If you find that to be the issue, LabAdvisor software should be able to handle whatever else needs doing.
If not, consult with Agilent...
