EG module Serial Number is not correct

I have a problem with the EG module on the ICS 6000. The problem is as follows: When I replace the cartridge, the serial number of the cartridge matches the serial number of the EG module in the device configurator. I tried removing the EG module and adding it again, but the problem persists. I also attempted to upload a new firmware, but it didn't help. I even tried connecting the EG module to a different PC with Chromeleon 7, and after adding the EG module, its serial number is still the same as the cartridge's serial number. How can this problem be resolved? Has anyone encountered something similar? Thank you.

Please be more specific about your Chromeleon version, also add some information about whether this is stand alone, client server... and what your PC's operating system is, and what, if any, anti virus/malware/port scanning software may be in use.

I use chromeleon 7.2 on Windows 10, it is a separate computer that directly controls the ic 6000 without access to the network. antivirus is not installed.
