Hello,

I currently work on formulations containing hyaluronic acid. When I proportion l' credit contained in these formulations, the peak is deformed because of this acid.
Do you Know a extraction technic of hyaluronic acid?

Thank you.

Excess alcohol (EtOH) or acetonitrile should precipitate it pretty well depending upon concentration. You can also use a centrifugal filtration unit (Amicon makes good ones IMHO - Check Fisher p/n UFC910024 for the 100K MWCO unit for instance) to pull out high MW material. It can also be hydrolized with HCl or hydrogen peroxide if your analyte is sufficiently rugged, though I'd think you would need to be pretty desparate to go there. What's your analyte & your desired mode of separation?
