Control protocol for Ranin/Varian/Agilent SD-1 pumps

Hello,

I'm looking to control the Ranin (Varian) SD-1 pump with a Python library. Does anyone have the command documentation?

Also, if you have the Start Chromatography Workstation software and serial, I believe it controls the SD-1 - I can snoop the comms and get the protocol that way.

I'm slightly cross-posting with this thread on getting Star Chrom software.

Please share either with me.

Thanks, @antonk. I'm giving that a go now. I've looked through the various branches, and there's nothing for Agilent (nee Varian (nee Rainin)).

If anyone has the protocol or the STARCHROM software, please let me know. I can spy to capture the command set.

As SD-1 connected with Y-shaped cable, maybe it is actually GSIOC machine?

Try to issue "%"<CR><LF> to it at different baud rates (4800,9600,19200)
