High background problem

Hello everyone,

I am running a method with 20 mM KOH mobile phase, for anions. When I pass water through my system, without column the background is ok. When I pass the mobile phase with column, I get a huge background. I changed suppressor and regenerant and nothing changed. Any suggestions?

Please give more information like instrument, suppressor type, measured conductivity etc.
