In pesticide residue analysis, which are the more appropriate quantification methods? standard in pure solvent calibration curve or matrix-matched calibration curve?
thank you..

I would suggest matrix matched calibration curves. Any compunds that may be lost on active sites in a GC benefit from matrix matched calibration.

Suggest matrix-matching or the 'method of standard addition' to prep your primary STD calibrator. You will encounter far less problems when calculating your 'final analytical result'; because issues of different solvent density, %w/w concentrations will not have to be accounted for in your back end calculations.
