Manometer connection for inlet pressure testing

Hello,
We are trying to connect a manometer to the split/splitless inlet to test for pressure decay and are having a very difficult time making the actual physical connection. Has anyone done this? If so, what sort of tubing/connectors/reducers have you used? Our GC is an Agilent 6890. Thanks!

You should be using either the pressure sensor that is built into the EPC version of the 6890 capillary inlet or the pressure guage that is built into the non-EPC version of the capillary inlet. There should be no need to connect a manometer.

If for some reason you don't want to use the system pressure gauges/sensors as Gasman is suggesting, you can simply come up with one like that shown in the link below using a spare pressure gauge you have in your lab.
