Hello my Chromatographical Friends,

Since a few days I have started working with Chromeleon 6.8 It takes some effort to make the transition from working with Atlas and ChromQuest to Chromeleon, but it seems I'm getting there.
There is just one thing I haven't been able to figure out. I usualy work with an external calibration sequence and I want to use this sequence for newer sequences with unknowns in them. What I do now is that once the sequence is finished I copy the standards + the raw data from the original calibration sequence in the unknown sequence. With that copied data I can quantify the peaks in the unknowns.
From the manual I understand that it is possible to use the external calibration sequence without copying the data, but how to do this? It has something to do with the 'Fixed'-calibration option in the QNT-method, but I don't know how.

Thanks!
Maurice

In the qnt-method set the calibration mode to 'fixed'. Thats on page 'general'. Then go to page 'calibration'. Select the line in the calibration table, right click on it and select 'append standard'. Now you can select a standard run.
If the page 'calibration is not visible, click in the main menu on 'view' and then on 'select sheets'.

Thanks very much Alex! That worked really well.

Now for me to figure out how to make a summary report to my specs. :)

it's also possible to create a sequence using the wizzard; select no standards and select the qnt from the calibrated sequence. The new sequence has a copy of the qnt with modus fixed.
