Hoping someone can provide me with some quick suggestions. I am trying to help a sister company get up and running with their Waters 2796 HPLC system. I have worked with other HPLC systems in the past, not this particular brand.
How do I determine what size syringe is installed in the system? And how about the sample loop volume?
I've noticed that the vacuum degasser is having issues. It stays on for a few minutes into a run, and then it shuts off and gives me an error message. Is there any maintenance I can do on this degasser?
Finally, what is the best approach to ensure that my injection is actually taking place? I think the autosampler is very unusual, I simply put in a tray into 1 of 4 slots, and it doesn't even fit in securely. But evidently it appears to be injecting.
Thanks for any help.
