HPLC/PDA advantages over GC/MS

Dear friends...
What are the advantages of an HPLC/PDA compared to a GC/MS?
If I already have a GC/MS/FID/TCD, what would make me buy an HPLC/PDA/RI?
Thank you

What if the stuff you want to analyse is not volatile?

yes, of course, but.... besides the obvious, I thought it had something to do with the fact that some compounds are poorly identified by a GC/MS and then a HPLC/PDA would fit better. I don't know, maybe the analyte needs a much longer column to separate into simple compounds etc.
Anyways, thank you.

Not much beyond the obvious.

HPLC developed partly in response to the fact that most organic compounds are not sufficiently volatile/thermally stable to be done by GC.
