Hi All,
I am having a problem with the DAD detector on Ultimaet 3000. It came up with the error: "signal overload detected". Does anyone know what it means or what causes the error?
Thanks
Reduce the injected amount either by reducing the sample concentration or by reducing the injection volume.
I had similar trouble when using a weak lamp together with eluent containing formic acid. So try to flush your flowcell with pure water before turning on the lamp. If this works and the problem comes back with your eluent of choice, maybe a new lamp will help, but you should consider switching to another eluent additive.
Good luck
Jörg
Thank you for the advice!
