Would someone know how electron multiplier voltage is supplied on the 5973A? Voltage to the actual multiplier?
Thank you.

Take off the plastic to the MSD. The high voltage toward the back of the instrument is what suplies the power. I believe it is one of the cords in the back. This is all part of the HED (High Energy Dynode) that supplies the power to the EM.

open the link to the manual and look on page 304 lets you look inside at the EM and where exaclty the voltage is supplied.

Hope this helps.

Thanks very much. I think the diagram will lead me in the right direction.
