chemstation quant report layout help needed

Hi - my coworkers and I are using msd chemstation (d.01.02.16) for generation of reports. We're using generated text files to drive data into Element DataSystem for ultimate reporting of results...the problem with a couple methods is the "compound" field has so few allowable characters that many of the compound names are truncated and end up with exactly the same name...
Does anyone know how to tweak the way chemstation software produces these reports, or how to generate landscape oriented results (not chromatograms...I know how to do that).
I was able to add decimal points to retention times in the past, I think by editing an .ini file..wondering if I could do something similar.
