Hi all..
We have revived a old analytical HPLC (monocratic) system and put a C18-RP column. The eluent flow rate (80:20 MeCn and H20) of eluent is fine without any back pressure problems.
So.. I would like to know the first expirement to be done to check how usefulness of the instrument  .
Pls help ..

what is it going to be used for?

the first thing to do would be to obtain a copy of the column test procedure from the manufacturer of the C18 column you are using and run that procedure to verify that the instrument and column are functioning properly. After that, it depends on your answer to grzesiek's question: what do you intend to use the instrument for?
