method for pesticide residues

Hello everyone!

I am trying to find the:
"Analytical methods for pesticide residues in foodstuffs, The Netherlands, 1996",
which are methods on pesticides analysis for GC. Does anybody know where I can find it?or could you suggest me something else for pesticide residue analysis by using GC with NPD or FID?

I am sorry I cannot directly answer your question about foodstuffs. I would suggest contacting Varian (especially Chrompack division) to see if they have such literature. You might also consider the EPA methods as a starting point. Accustandard has many of these as PDF files.

Regarding pesticide analysis with FID, very difficult since your matrix is likely to contain a large number of non-target analytes. Better to rely on your NPD and multiple columns since the NPD will give you good selectivity to phosphorous and okay selectivity to nitrogen containing pesticides. You might think about a Deans switch to enhance your selectivity. You might also think about investing in an ECD or FPD depending on which pesticides you are looking for.

The thing is that one of our customers asked for the "analytical methods for pesticides residues in foodstuff" but I cannot find it anywhere on the internet.
