Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

I'm assuming that you are referring to a gas chromatograph used to analyze natural gas samples. There are a variety of configurations depending on the specific analysis, usually and ASTM or GPA method. I would look online for basic information on this type of system.

Having developed columns for NG analysis and engineered analyzers for NG analysis I could probably answer any questions you might have.

Do you have a specific questions?

Well, If you put millions of cubic feet of compressed natural gas in a pipeline, eventually the PCB's from the compresser that leaked out will eventually elute out the other end in your stove.... However, because your injection band is very poor, I suspect the peak shape will also be very poor (quite broad.)

I don't think that is what you meant but I have always been fascinated by the fact.

Best regards.
