My question is about the verification (operational qualification) of Liquid Chromatographer from Agilent Model 1100. In this step I used the new restriction capillary and the main difference with the old is the length, it is ten times higher. When I turned on the pump, the pressure increase a lot and I turned off inmediatelly. I want to know if anyone have experience in this step of verification (composition gradient) and until what maximum value of pressure can work without damaging the pump. This information will be very valuable for me.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Diego Delmonte
