My current hobby is keeping planted aquariums. Here's a vid clip of my Angel laying eggs on one of my plants.

Fishing, summer from a boat and winter through a hole in the ice.
Motorcycle, 1979 Yamaha 650 Special. About two hours of fixing per hour of riding.

Annoying my sons, fixing my old house, fixing my car and if I get the chance sailing.

I play ice hockey. Good stress reliever after a loong day of trying to get the curve to fit

I have a horse that I spend more time doctoring than riding and an American Staffordshire terrier who I do competition obedience with. I take wildlife photos and tinker with DIY, and I neglect the gardening and house maintenance !

Chasing the kiddies around and SLOWLY restoring a very ancient BMW cabriolet...rust never sleeps...

Playing the guitar, especially songs by Whitesnake, The Police, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Doors and Nirvana. The old good stuffs from the previous century :D The most inspiring century, when the music was art

Rock and Roll fellows

Ha! Long ago and far away I used to play the piano and with a buddy on guitar did some pretty good acoustic covers of he Doors' Riders on the Storm and Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here. I also saw the Police at Shea Stadium circa 1983....good stuff!

Yup, the good old Doors! I like the philosophy of the refrain:

Riders on the storm
Into this house we're born
Into this world we're thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out alone
Riders on the storm

or (Pink Floyd)

We're just two lost souls swimming in the fish bowl, year after year
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found? The same old fears...

The music that will live forever

I race motorcycles on circuits. I own a Honda Blackbird CBR1100XX which I ride across Australia on to see the MotoGP round at Phillip Island.

Occaisonally go rockclimbing every now and again (bit hard when you live on the flattest state of the flattest continent)

Gardening, growing food and getting involved in greeny stuff.
To err is human.
To really screw things up, you need a machine.
I have a Belgian Tervuran I do obedience competition with--though until she learns to pick up the dumbbell we won't get much farther. Time to switch over to agility, I guess.

I also keep an aquarium, though my plants don't look nearly as nice as DR's. I'm better at keeping fish alive than plants, nowadays.

Taking the boys out for bike rides. Getting the odd game of golf in and going to the driving range in the evening. The ball seems to go further in the dimly lit range! When I was a kid I used to love the sound of balata on persimmon. Unwrapping a new ball. These new drivers sound ugly! If there are any golf lovers here (CPG) go to youtube and search Ben Hogan - there is a lovely instruction video by him about 1 1/2 minutes long. What a beautiful swing.... WK.
I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue - Just A Minute - The Unbelievable Truth

I've just moved into a new house so, for the next few months, I will be mostly unpacking boxes and rearranging furniture.

Not so bad since the weather is in the -20s at the moment.

I am a mountain climber - all styles: hiking, by skis, with rope & crampons etc. I am happy enough to live very close to the mountains. And we have a great selection of them here in Switzerland.

Mmmh... good question :)

Tinkering with broken lab equipment (yes, that is fun!), writing programs, generally fixing stuff (cars etc.), surfing the web and helping with our new building.
