Greetings, forum members.

Sometimes I just don't know when to keep my mouth shut.

At least during this last year after I retired, I slowed down considerably.

Some are thankful for that blessing.

To those I helped, I am glad I could.

To those I didn't, I am sorry.

I wish everyone sharp peaks and great resolution.

Retirement is greatly underrated. If people only knew !

best wishes,

Rodney George

Thank you for your help and insight, Rodney.

I'm thinking about retirement now...too bad I'll have to wait another 40 years. :(

A former member of this forum (who is also retired) told me

"enjoy the freedom"

when I retired. To me that is really THE advantage of retirement. Thus, when I feel like it I still go into the lab, etc, etc.
So far the only real negative aspect: One feels the age.

Rodney, your posts are a highlight of the forum - the more the merrier so keep them coming.

Hans,

I don't know what we would do without you here.

I wish you 'many years'.

Your straight shooting and bulls-eye comments have always been admired.

Enjoy your days.

best wishes,

Rodney George

I finally figured out how to check (I'm not a Computer Guy) - and I'm over 1000 as well......need to get a life.....

Does anyone here find my posts helpful or useful ????

Or did you just like the photo of my calculator ???

Thanks Rodney,
hopefully you can and will continue here.

That goes for you also CPG.

I think we all learn from each other.

Hi Rodney,

I'm very pleased that you are enjoying your retirement. Long may it continue. Chromatography can be a lifelong hobby, because it's never boring to learn..

To all posters ( including CPG :-) ), I enjoy reading about your problems and solutions. Sometimes I'm extremely grateful that I'm not standing in your shoes.

Please keep having fun,

Bruce Hamilton

I think all of you "frequent flyers" deserve a large dose of thanks and appreciation. I'm continually amazed by your generosity of time and effort and your patience in helping fellow chromatogaphers. In fact, all of the Forum members have shown a remarkable level of politeness, civility, and professionalism! :D
