Vial number 101 in the sequence file. I assume you do not have a tray? On the older towers you had to have a particular turret but I do not think that is the case in the new towers.

We have 7890B also, pretty new, but I've only used the tray/tower combination to inject, so I can't help directly on this. Likely the operating manual is on one of the discs, they don't print these apparently any more.
Anyway, AICMM is correct about the 7673 towers; one needed to remove the tray circuit board from the control box and use little plastic spacers in the tower turret, and #1 spot was 101, etc. I remember that changeover information was sort of hidden.
Maybe the new electronics are smart enough to "know" that 101 means to inject from the tower directly. I assume that you do not have a tray, why you want to do this. Did you call Agilent 800-227-9770 and speak to a telephone technical engineer? One can usually talk to a live person in under 10 minutes, and they will either know or get back to you exactly what to do.
