Is it possible to use GC-TCD packed column for Methycylohexane.

If yes can you please help me what can I use for this particular component of interest.

Thanks in advance!
mark.perico,

Using TCD is a function of the concentration of the compound you are interested in. If it is high enough concentration, then yes you can use a TCD. If trace levels, then no. Look at the post on Phenol content in the GC section.

Regarding the packed column side of this question, it depends on what column you have,

More info needed.

Best regards,
