Hi

I have oil spill samples (from water column). I am planning to use GC-FID and 1,2,3-Trichlorobenzene as a surrogate to calculate recoveries (volatile losses during sample prep). But i am not sure what concentration of surrogate should i spike my samples. I will be thankful for your valuable input

Best regards,

Generally speaking at a level comparable to what you expect for your analytes.
