Has anyone controlled a CTC sampler with Empower or Empower 2? We have a Agilent 7890 GC with a Gerstel CTC sampler and we've been told we should be able to have limited control of the sampler with Empwer, but we keep running into dead ends while trying to set it up.
Has anyone tried to do this or have we just been misinformed?

Check with Waters. If they support a command set for that controller, they'll let you know what is involved (software, license fees) in getting it online.

The only instruments that you can control right out of the gate with Empower are Waters instruments (and even they get licenses assigned to them in Empower 2!).

Looks like a company called Davinci Europe has a way of doing this.
