Hi all

have any of you tried doing Accurate mass measurements using APCI as ionization technique?
if so what reference compound works?
i've tried PEI, sodium TFA (not great I know) and PEG.
PEI seems to give the best signal but lacks reference peaks in the low mass range...

any ideas would be appreciated

kind regards

MassSpecM,

I know Agilent sells a tune mix for APCI (but I have no direct experience with it).

Best regards,
Yes this is the same standard solution you can use with ESI source.
Dilute it 1:10 with ACN and inject it.
The conc. solution is quite stable, you can store it at room temp without any degradation. The diluted one is better preserved at 4°C.
