Dear all,

Anyone know there's an instrument that can analyze sulfur's purity, meaning the sulfur can take up appr. 90% plus.

Thanks for any input.

Unless you are looking for specific impurities, I'd ask someone who makes a carbon sulfur analyzer how their instrument does for sulfur alone. I know that LECO makes one - because I used to work for them. (This type of analyzer is used in steel manufacture and has other applications.)

If you don't want to purchase an instrument, there are old wet chemical methods for this. (You would gain the reputation of being one of those old time "real" chemists.)

Sulphur
Just respond direct from the link, we can supply new and second hand in the UK
100ppm to 100% for CHNS and O

Thank you both for the response. The sulfur is considered pure, about 95% plus.
I have been used to analyze traced levels and now it is the opposite, the nearly 100%!
