scale up difference

I have slightly lower results from method one compared to method two, what reasons can cause this difference?
Method 1 - 1 tablet into 25mL and follow procedure
Method 2 - 4 tablets into 100mL and follow procedure
There is no apprent extraction or stability problems.

In USP <905> it mentions about SPECIAL PROCEDURE for content uniformity and using a correction factor. Is this for situations like what I am experiencing?

How did you measure your solvents? how much did they weight?

I'll add to the chorus: :wink:

How much different? How many replicates of each procedure? What is the standard deviation for each procedure?
