Hi!
does anyone know a method for sulphate/sulphite with RI detector?
thank u!

Hi!
why you want RI method? :o are you working on Topiramate sulphate/sulphamate impurities?? there exist methods employing anion ex. separation of sulphate / sulphamate, followed by negative polarity mode-UV detection.

We require much more information. generally RI will be unsuitable because of their low sensitivity and isocratic solvent modes for trace concentrations.

You can probably use an ion exclusion column with water mobile
phase and an RI detector. They are available through any number of vendors. Call one of them and ask if the two components separate
on a hydrogen form column.

hi!I want this method for topiramate sulphate/sulphamate in order to avoid conductivity detector because of its low sensitivity.

I do not see any chance to get better sensitivity by using RI instead of conductivity detection.

Which sulfate / sulfamate concentrations are you looking for?

the concentrations of sulpahte/sulphamate are 200 ppm each.

sorry.10 ppm is the concentration for both sulphate/sulphamate.
