How to select "loop final pressure" on Agilent 7697A headspace? Should the final loop pressure be higher or lower than the carrier pressure?
Final pressure is not related to carrier pressure. You should choose a pressure lower than that used to pressurize vial: this difference is used by system to fill loop with sample. initial pressure is dependent from sample matrix and method condition: for example you can start from 15 psi and finish at 11.
