TEA and filter compatability

Dear Experts

Can mobile phase containing 1 % v/v TEA filtered through Millipore GS type membrane filters. If not then tell me any alternative. If some body can give me reference regarding this, it will be helpful to us.

I don't think that the type of filter is the real concern, but rather the volatility of TEA under the vacuum filtration. I have had good success with adding the TEA as the final component after filtration. This will probably not work if you are adjusting the pH though.

You may be able to degas your mobile phase by sonication if you do not have a buffer.
