Hi, I am trying a CSR splitless injection. How do I calculate the lenght retention gap? Unfortunately I don't have the software specific splitless large volume assistant Thermo.

Looking through some of the applications on the Restek website, they use 10m of 0.53 retention gap for 50ul injection and 5m for 12.5ul injection. I don't think they calculate a length but just use enough to make sure it catches all of the injected solvent. Over length would not be a problem but under length might be so I would just use a 5m for anything under 25ul and 10m for 25-50ul as a rough estimate.
