Increasing FID temperature

What typically happen when FID temp is increased? Do the responses increase or do the decreases?
You need to optimise to get the maximum signal to noise ratio. In most cases your manufacturer will have recomended a temperature range, then where possible use 20C above the maximum programmed column temperature
