I am currently dealing with fermentation broth analysis and in the broth we have, Cellobiose, glucose, arabinose, xylose, acetic acid, lactic acid, formic acid, and ethanol. I know it will be hard to get a standard like this, but if we had one we could use as a check for the standards we make in house, that would be great. I found an ethanol standard but, it would be nice to find the others premade - any ideas?

If you want a custom mix containing all those compounds I'd give chemservice or restek a call. I know they both make custom mixes although from past experience I also know they aren't exactly cheap.

I've bought the ehtanol standard before, I'm struggling to remember the supplier. But my understanding is that it was basically made for all the fuel ehtanol plants - sort of a special product.

If you are using it for something kind of ordinary, like wine... I would look at the the wine laboratories and see who supplies them.

Good luck, let us know how it goes. :)
Kind Regards,
