please give me details about split mode
1:100 means howmuch sample analysed

It means that 1 part of 100 parts is analysed, the rest (99 parts) is put out

A word of caution: The split ratio is only a relative measure of how much sample is entering the column as opposed to going out the split vent. For example, do not assume that a split of 10:1 is delivering exactly 10 times as much sample as a split of 100:1.

In my experience a properly functioning injection port will deliver 10 times as much compound on column at a 10:1 split compared to 100:1.
