methylpyrrolidine question

Hello,

I am currently trying to optimize a method using a Corona CAD instrument. I am having trouble seeing the compound (R)-(-)-2-Methylpyrrolidine on the CAD even at very high concentration injections (500mcg/mL). I have tried everything from adjusting the range of the CAD to adjusting the filter, I have also tinkered with injecting a 100 microliter injection. Also, my mobile phase is 97:3 CH3CN: 0.1%CHO2NH4(aq) isocratic. I have gone as low as 50:50 (and everything in between) of the aforementioned mobile phase and have seen no retention of the compound. My original run was at 10 minutes, but I have tried to extend that run to 20 minutes to no avail. The sample diluent I am using is CH3CN neat. Am I making a mistake somewhere as to why I am not seeing any significant retention of my compound? Thanks

Thanks for coming back with a comment which can serve as a good lesson for others: Not detecting a compound does not necessarily mean that it is not retained, etc.
