I want to run the atmospheric N2O samples by using the GC-ECD. Our machine is GC-14A and the serious number is 81879YS. The technician is Shimadzu told me that I need to add the 10-way and 4-way valve in order to measure the sample. I wonder is anybody here measure the atmospheric N2O, what kind of valves you are using. I really need some help...

Would you please send me an email if you are running or have the experience of running this kind of N2O samples. I really want to discuss with some one who has this kind of experience.
My email address is: starrinesshu@gmail.com.

I really appreciate your help.

For these propose, ambient gas analyzers is the usually (NDIR, chemiluminescence, etc),

Thanks for your reply. But in a lot of literature, they use the GC-ECD to measure the gas sample from the static chamber installed in the field.
