Hi All,

I was wondering if one of you had already tried and used a filament made of "SisAlloy"

https://www.sisweb.com/ms/filament/sisalloy.htm

Following the pictures, it does look like the filament is not sagging much over time!

I've been buying and using replacement tungsten filament coils from SIS for a very long time and up until lately have been happy with the results.
Recently however, the latest batch of filament coils that I ordered have tripled in price, and they don't work nearly as well as the old ones.
I left a long detailed message with technical support but nobody has bothered to reply.
SIS recently sold out to a technology clearing house, Adaptas Solutions (think Fisons back in the '90's). As far as I know it's a change of ownership only and not a full scale take over.
My advice is to buy one and give it a try.
If it performs anywhere near as good as they say it does, great.

SISalloy may be OK by itself but see thread to see how having yttria coating affects things....
