Air bubble in the Ion chromatography column

Dear All,

I am working with very sensitive Ion chromatography. By mistake, I forgot to click on the auto shut off mode and it ran out of eluent overnight. I already have experience in dealing with such situations.
Unfortunately, I was overwhelmed today and without removing the air bubble from the pump head, I started the IC system with a new eluent. Until I realized my mistake it was late and I think there is already a bubble introduced in the column. I removed the bubble from the pump head but there is a disturbance in the baseline.
Pressure, retention time, and background conductivity are working fine, but there is a lot of disturbance in the baseline. I am worried if it can get back the same performance. It is an expensive and new column.

Any assistance in this regard will be helpful!
Many thanks!
Pump the eluent through the column to remove the air. When the baseline becomes stable, continue working.
Not likely that you have a "bubble" in your column. Gases are easily compressed in liquid. Just prime the system, flush the column and make sure you are degassing your mobile phase properly.
