I start working about the content of olive oil and its offical methods aren't very applicaple. Wax, sterol, stigmastadiene sample preperation takes too much time, so I with a quick search of literature I found that LC-GC (combined system) offer much more rapid results. However I cant find much infomation about comertial avaiblity or the feedbacks about LC-GC

So where can I find more information about LC-GC systems

Thx for help

I believe that Schimadzu was offering GCxGC, LCxGC and LCxLC capabilities a year or so ago at PittCon. (If it was not Schimadzu, there was an instrument company doing this.)

The one LCxGC instrument system that I am aware of was home built and used as part of a dissertation project.

There may be other systems out in the marketplace by now.

If you already have LC and GC capability, it may be worth it to run your LC into a fraction collector and transfer the collected fractions to the autosampler on a GC.

Hi
Konik have a HPLC-GC and there are oficial enterprises that analize olive oil with it in Spain
