Agilent/HP date of manufacture and the serial number

I was wondering if there was a way to figure out the year of manufacture of the agilent units.

Serial Number:
First few digits will give you the year and number of week of the year made. First few characters will give you the country made (e.g. 'DE' = Germany; 'US' = USA; 'JP' = Japan).
