Regeneration of a hplc SCX column

Could someone give me some tips how to regenerate a scx column?
I injected a paraquat sample (agrochemical) in order to get a separation, since it is a dication, but I forgot that there is no pKa to this compound. It has a positive charge independently of the pH of the MP. I didn´t see any peak eluting from the column in a DAD, so I think it got retained into the column.
Any help it would be fine

You will need high concentration of ions (100-200 mmol) in order to elute double quat from SCX column. Even with WCX (mixed-mode reversed phase cation-exchange Obelisc R column) you need high concentration:
