Need to export data from Empower & import into Chemstati

I tried exporting data (PAD data) from Empower as an .AIA file and then importing into Chemstation. It worked but the data didn't look right. The peaks were not smooth but stepped and the baseline was very jagged - not smooth. Is there any way to fix this?
