6890GCMS "Communication timeout while reading MS respon

I was doing manual injection one by one and the error message "Communication timeout while reading MS response" showed up after one run. There wasn't anything special for the last run. And I tried again, another error message showed up: "Expected service request wast not received".

The 'checkout tune' works fine. And I can't see anything obviously wrong.

Any comments?

Could be an HPIB cable/board error. Sometimes communication errors when using Chemstation software can be resolved by simply exiting and restarting the program. Power faults and surges can also interrupt communication and cause comm timeouts.
