Hi everybody
I got a small problem trying to satisfy the wishes of my supervisor.

So far I did some analysis with the GCMS, mainly fatty acid composition and
quantification of a small reactive aldehyde. We would now like to investigate into earlier steps of the fatty acid synthesis.
Therefore I want to add to my organism radioactive labeled precoursers and then check where they are incooperated to. Now my boss just said:
No problem, just look for a GCMS protocol.
After a lot of investigation I couldnt find anything suitable yet :oops:

So, the final question:
Any suggestions how to detect best small molecules like
  • - Pyruvate
    - acetyl-coa
    - malonyl-coa
I would be thankful for ANY suggestion
