I want to check the GC methanizer to measure CO2.
I have checked valves, flows, columns, but I do not see a peak.
I have thought to manually inject a mixture of CO2 and H2 into the methanizer inlet (to make the reaction). And expect the FID to give me signs of life.
I have a 50ppm CO2 bottle. I have thought to dilute with N2 (to get 5-10 ppm of CO2) and add some H2.
Would this test be correct?
Any suggestion?
Thank you
