Which LC-MS/MS is better?

Discussions about GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-FTIR, and other "coupled" analytical techniques.

HI,
I am preparing to buy a new system of UPLC/MS/MS (TSQ)
Which of these is better?
1. Thermo TSQ Vantage? (the service in my city is really good)
2. API 5000 (good MS) but be connected with DIONEX UPLC (model 3000)
3. Waters XEVO MS (good UPLC?)
Have anyone used one of each? What is the weak and the strength of each?
Please help me. In my country, there are no demo products available.

API systems can connect with Waters UPLC, is there a reason for excluding this combination.

Is there a lack of on-site demo instruments? Can you not visit each supplier and get them to analyze some of your samples with a specified method so you can compare.

Buying a LC-MS-MS is a huge expenditure and I find it hard to understand why suppliers can't offer you a demo in their facility, if not yours.
Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

API can not connect with Waters ACQUITY in my country because of the competion between supplies in my country.
There isn't any demo in their facility... I don't know why. We just have their product specification to decide...
I have some experience in using API 4000 and TSQ QUANTUM ACCESS but I don't know either API 5000 or TSQ VANTAGE is better?

What UPLC can you put in front of the Thermo?... From what you are telling us, it is very important for you to look at the service in your area for both LC and MS... I would ask the distributors if they have service engineers in town or if they need to fly them in and I would try to ask from other nearby laboratories about their experience with different manufacturers...

Which instrument is better should be of secondary consideration in your case (all your choices are at least decent)...

Both the Waters UPLC and (of course) the Thermo Accela will fit in front of a Thermo MS... Which is best is probably more a question of religion.. :)
I know people who swear to both systems ( and AT both systems :) )

If you have worked with the Quantum Access you will be very familiar with the workings of the Vantage.. Not much have changed in the controls but the Vantage is the "next generation" of thermo TSQ so you will noticed a big improved in performance!!
Kind regards
