Empower 1154: Missing entry in Audit Trail

We had created a project and when reviewing the audit trail for this at a later date, there is no entry at all about the creation.
When the properties of the project are looked at in the Config window, we can see the date and time of the creation and the project has been used in use ever since.
We have been using the current server build since 2003 with no issues. This is the first time of not being able to reconcile our audit trail. Has anyone seen this before?
